Terms of Service – Finch Craft & Co
Effective Date: 1 January 2026
Welcome to Finch Craft & Co. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services, including all purchases made through the website. By browsing, accessing, or placing an order with Finch Craft & Co, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please review them carefully before proceeding with any purchase.
1. General Terms
1.1 Finch Craft & Co reserves the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms at its sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of the website after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
1.2 All content on this website, including but not limited to text, product descriptions, images, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the exclusive intellectual property of Finch Craft & Co and is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws of Pakistan.
1.3 Our furniture is handcrafted using natural materials. Minor variations in color, texture, wood grain, finish, or dimensions are inherent to handcrafted products and shall not be considered defects.
2. Orders & Payment Terms
2.1 (a) An order is considered confirmed once:
- Full payment is received, or
- In the case of Cash on Delivery (COD), an Order Confirmation Deposit of PKR 10,000 per product is received.
2.1(b) Customized / Made-to-Order Items
For customized, made-to-order, or personalized furniture, an advance payment equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total product price is required prior to execution.
This advance payment:
- Confirms the order
- Enables procurement of materials
- Initiates dedicated production exclusively for the customer
Accordingly, the advance payment for customized items is non-refundable once production has commenced.
However, in the event that:
- The delivered product is materially different from the approved specifications, or
- The product arrives damaged during delivery, or
- A verified manufacturing defect is identified upon inspection
Finch Craft & Co will, after assessment, offer an appropriate repair, replacement, or refund (partial or full) in accordance with the nature of the issue and applicable consumer protection laws.
2.2 The Order Confirmation Deposit enables Finch Craft & Co to reserve materials, schedule production, and plan delivery logistics. The remaining balance is payable at the time of delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.3 Advance payments for ready stock items are fully refundable if cancellation is requested prior to dispatch.
2.4 Finch Craft & Co reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or place an order on hold at any time due to reasons including, but not limited to, product unavailability, pricing inaccuracies, incomplete information, or payment verification issues.
2.5 All prices are displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Applicable taxes will be charged in accordance with prevailing laws at the time of checkout.
3. Product Details & Accuracy
3.1 While we make every reasonable effort to display products accurately, actual colors may vary slightly due to lighting conditions, photography, and individual screen settings.
3.2 Product dimensions, weights, and specifications are approximate and may vary slightly due to the handcrafted nature of the products.
3.3 Finch Craft & Co reserves the right to make minor design, material, or construction adjustments that do not materially affect the overall appearance or function of the product, for the purpose of quality improvement.
4. Delivery & Shipping
4.1 Delivery timelines provided on the website or during order confirmation are estimates and may vary due to production schedules, logistics availability, or destination constraints.
4.2 For in-stock items, the estimated delivery timeline is approximately 3–4 working days.
4.3 For made-to-order or customized items, estimated production and delivery timelines are mentioned on the respective product pages. A tentative delivery date will be confirmed after order approval.
4.4 Customers are responsible for ensuring that accurate delivery details, contact numbers, and access information (stairs, elevators, entry restrictions) are provided at the time of order confirmation.
4.5 Finch Craft & Co shall not be held liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, transport disruptions, or governmental restrictions.
5. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds (Fair-Use Policy)
5.1 Non-custom, ready-made items may be eligible for return or exchange within three (3) calendar days of delivery, excluding the delivery date and return dispatch date, subject to inspection and approval.
5.2 Return Eligibility Conditions
To qualify for a return or exchange, the product must meet all of the following conditions:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- The item must be returned in the original, undamaged packaging with all accessories intact
- In cases where the product arrives with visibly damaged external packaging, the original Finch Craft & Co packing sticker and seal must remain intact and unbroken
- Any unboxing or inspection must be documented through a continuous video clearly showing the sealed package being opened for the first time
Failure to meet these conditions may result in the return or exchange being declined.
5.3 Custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized furniture is non-returnable and non-refundable unless a manufacturing defect is confirmed upon inspection.
5.4 Refunds are processed based on the stage of the order and actual non-recoverable costs incurred, including materials, packaging, handling, or logistics already undertaken.
5.5 In cases of refusal or return at delivery due to a change of mind (excluding defects or damage), Finch Craft & Co reserves the right to deduct actual logistics, handling, and repackaging costs before processing any approved refund.
5.6 Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection and confirmation.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
6.1 If a product is received in damaged condition, the customer must notify Finch Craft & Co within 24 hours of delivery by:
- Providing a clear, continuous unboxing video showing the original Finch Craft & Co packaging being opened for the first time, with the original packing sticker and seal visibly intact and unbroken before opening.
- Submitting photographs of the damage
- Sharing proof of purchase
6.2 Finch Craft & Co will assess the claim and, upon validation, may offer a repair, replacement, or partial/full refund at its discretion, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2017.
6.3 Claims reported after 24 hours of delivery may not be eligible for consideration.
7. Warranty & Limitation of Liability
7.1 Our products are manufactured using quality materials; however, natural wear and tear, exposure to sunlight, humidity, water, misuse, negligence, or improper maintenance are not covered under warranty.
7.2 Finch Craft & Co’s maximum liability shall be limited to the purchase value of the product. Under no circumstances shall Finch Craft & Co be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7.3 Products installed or placed in environments unsuitable for furniture care, including extreme humidity or restricted access locations, may not qualify for warranty or after-sales support.
8. Privacy & Data Security
8.1 Customer information collected during order placement is used strictly for order processing, delivery coordination, and after-sales communication.
8.2 Finch Craft & Co complies with the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and applicable data protection principles under Pakistani law.
8.3 We do not sell, rent, or disclose customer data to third parties without consent, except where required for order fulfillment or by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
9.1 These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
9.2 Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, including their interpretation, performance, breach, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Pakistan.
