Shipping Policy – Finch Craft & Co

At Finch Craft & Co, we ensure that every handcrafted furniture piece is delivered with care, transparency, and clear communication. Please read this Shipping Policy carefully before placing an order, as it forms an integral part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Shipping Coverage

  • Finch Craft & Co delivers across Pakistan through trusted courier and freight partners.
  • Deliveries to remote or hard-to-access locations may require additional time or charges, which will be communicated in advance.

2. Order Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed only after:
    • Full payment (for prepaid orders), or
    • Receipt of the required advance token (for Cash on Delivery orders).
  • In-stock items are dispatched within 3–4 working days after confirmation.
  • Made-to-order or unavailable items follow the production timeline mentioned on the product page. A tentative dispatch and delivery date is shared after confirmation.
  • Dispatch timelines may vary due to public holidays, weather conditions, strikes, or logistical constraints.

3. Pre-Delivery Confirmation & Product Images

  • Before dispatch, Finch Craft & Co will share product images and order details with the customer for final confirmation.
  • Dispatch will proceed only after the customer acknowledges and confirms readiness for delivery.

4. WhatsApp Dispatch Confirmation

Before shipping, a detailed confirmation message will be sent via WhatsApp. Dispatch will take place only after customer acknowledgment.

Sample Confirmation Message:

Your order is ready for dispatch. Please confirm that you understand and agree to the following:
Unpacking is allowed only after full payment
No refunds are processed at the time of delivery
In case of delivery refusal, advance payments will be adjusted only after return inspection.

Failure to respond or confirm may result in dispatch delays.

5. Delivery Timelines

  • All delivery timelines provided are estimated, not guaranteed.
  • Delivery duration depends on location, product size, courier availability, and external factors.
  • Finch Craft & Co is not liable for delays caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, transport disruptions, or courier delays.

6. Cash on Delivery (COD) Rules

  • Open delivery or unpacking is strictly not allowed for COD orders.
  • Full payment must be completed before unpacking or inspection.
  • Any attempt to open, inspect, or partially unpack the product without full payment will be treated as a refusal of acceptance.

7. Inspection at Delivery

  • Customers must inspect the outer packaging before accepting delivery and ensure that:
    • The package is intact
    • The security seal is unbroken
  • If there are visible signs of damage or tampering, customers should refuse delivery and immediately inform us.
  • An unboxing video is mandatory for any damage, refund, or exchange claim.

8. Refusal of Delivery

  • Refusal of delivery without a valid reason (such as visible damage or tampering) will be considered a customer-initiated refusal.
  • In such cases:
    • Advance payments are not refunded immediately
    • The product will undergo return inspection
    • Logistics, handling, and return shipping charges will be deducted before any adjustment or refund
  • Custom-made or made-to-order items are not eligible for delivery refusal.

9. Failed Deliveries

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery details.
  • Failed delivery attempts due to incorrect address, unavailability, or non-responsiveness may result in additional charges or order cancellation, with deductions applied as per policy.
